weeeeeee, summer time is in full effect.  south end crowded as usual.  couple days of flatness and several days of wind/storm driven swell.  busted shoulder got me taking a few photos of the local
crowd doing their thing.

xxxx habanero is great on everything and haven't manned up to the ghost pepper yet.

finally got a mini card for the phone.  droppped a few here.  hot sauce.  there have been some random swell missed a couple of days due to speckled trout.  they were calling me and most of the time ya can't do both, at least not in my world.  oh tropical pepper co. is some of the best hot sauce on the world.  xxxx habanero is my choice, gotta try the ghost pepper sauce next.

Sunday with Hurricane Sandy









Sunday at Wrightsville Beach the winds came around as Hurricane Sandy continued up the Atlantic.  Photos are blurry and out of focus but I am to tired to care, just got some for posting.

a very small wave today with the tide almost low at 10.  but every now and then a little bit of fun would roll our way.  it is really close to fishing time large schools of mullet are still cruising the beach.

Finally, the swell has come back to Wrightsville Beach!  Hurricane Leslie has been pushing in the Gulf Stream for a few days now and the long peroid swell is making its way to Onslow Bay.  S winds are making it a mess but there are some good ones to be had.  Reports keep changing but there should be plenty of time to get out and get yourself something fun.
