waiting for something

messing with the 0's and 1's

illustrator shapes
everyone that does this i guess get the message sometime.  "you have reached to mb limit."  so i got rid of some unnecessary photo albums and freed some storage and waited to see what would happen.  meanwhile illustrator and photoshop experiments oh and fishing for reds, stripers and specks filled the void of surfing while the flu runs amuck in the house.  water temps have finally dropped into the upper 50's.  i checked the photos storage today and now its at 5100mb from 1000mg, go figure.
i guess i am gonna keep posting now.  thanks for checking in.  more to come soon.

Free parking at the WB at least 'til March.  Seems like months since waves.  The Northeast, however, is climbing out of snow from a Nor'easter one week after the destruction from Sandy.

My boy Al and I made a road trip yesterday as Hurricane Sandy was cruising up the coastline.  We found these slabs and had it all to ourselves for about an hour, then shared them with 15 of our newest friends for the next 5 hours.  I can barely type today.

Crystal Pier Wednesday was a treat.  The forecast of 4.5ft every 14secs and NE 10-15kts had Masonboro firing but crowded while across the inlet we had the Southend all to ourselves.  The wind had held off for most of the morning.  There were about 20 of us spread out to the jetty.  You could get all you wanted with fighting to get it.  I broke out the Pentax sp500 for a couple film shots and got the rest in the Nikon D5000.

Here's a heads up on the 2013 Cape Fear Striper Invitational which is scheduled for January 18 and 19th, 2013.  http://www.capefearriverwatch.org/news-events/striperfest-2013
This is a great tournament and is always a good time for all that participate, great food and auction.  It is also an excellent way to help bring back this once great fishery to it's former glory.  If your interested in fishing this event you can call me or contact the awesome staff at Cape Fear River Watch.

Thanks For a Great Season,

a very small wave today with the tide almost low at 10.  but every now and then a little bit of fun would roll our way.  it is really close to fishing time large schools of mullet are still cruising the beach.
